So all you lovely RAWR member's (or alliance members) reading this, you may just wonder; "What exactly is GvG?" in the first place. Well, it's a 8 vs 8 (Guild vs Guild) Scrimmage that is auto-hosted in your Guild-Hall when you decide to enter with your team of 8. But you can't just do it that easily; there's a few guidelines you need to go by before just entering one yourself.
So that's enough for learning some rules to GvG, here is how some mechanics work inside of GvG to lead you to victory:
Okay sorry for posting so much, but if there is anyone who didn't know much about GvG, or needed to learn just certain aspects, I'd strongly advise you to read what I have just typed (much-ly appreciated to me also spending the time typing it)
Thanks,

So all you lovely RAWR member's (or alliance members) reading this, you may just wonder; "What exactly is GvG?" in the first place. Well, it's a 8 vs 8 (Guild vs Guild) Scrimmage that is auto-hosted in your Guild-Hall when you decide to enter with your team of 8. But you can't just do it that easily; there's a few guidelines you need to go by before just entering one yourself.
- Make sure you have at least 4 people from your own Guild your team will be representing. I can't even count how many times me and some friends will be asking tons of friends to join us for GvG and then finally realize that we don't even have 4 original Guild Members for the GvG. What a waste of time yeah?
- Only 3 Hero's maximum are allowed for GvG usage. That means if you have only 5 people (which of course remember 4 have to be in the Guild) available to play, you will be able to GvG using 3 Heroes, but if you have only the 4 original Guild Members wanting to GvG; you better start getting your guesting skills out (which brings me to my next point).
- Learn 2 Guest! Guesting just means asking someone from anywhere (could be anywhere from inside the Alliance, to a friend in a completely different guild), so if you need a 5th or 6th or 8th person to come play if you're not in the mood for heroes, you can guest them to the Guild to come play! (if you're not an officer than you can probably just ask an officer to guest whoever it is who is coming to play for the guild).
- Lastly, GvG is most often won using Common Sense (something I don't have according to Dies). If you think something should happen, or is about to happen, just say it. Most likely in the end; even if you weren't right, it was better to take the precaution anyways. Also whenever GvG'ing you will usually have a designated "Caller" in the party, usually a tank or main up-front class, so listening to what they are directing with tactics is strongly advised (this is also who you would report the things you are noticing in the battle).
So that's enough for learning some rules to GvG, here is how some mechanics work inside of GvG to lead you to victory:
- Flag Stand: An object central to a GvG map that grants a 10% morale boost and a bonus +300 health to the Guild Lord of the team that can hold it for two minutes, using their team's Flag (spawned in the center of their fort).
- Winning Conditions: Kill the enemy Guild Lord, have all opposing players reach 60% Death Penalty, or in the event that time runs out, whichever team has dealt the most damage to the opposing team's Guild Lord will be declared the winner.
- Death Respawn: You can be either rezzed by a teammate during the battle, or you can (and will) be rezzed every 2 minutes back to your Guild's fort rez. If you are to reach 60% DP, you will no longer be rezzed every 2 minutes of the GvG, but you are still able to be rezzed by a teammate.
