right click your GW desktop icon and go to properties then find the path after the path (mine is "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe") put a space then a -image
it should look like this...
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image
this will re download all files for GW, fixing your corrupt files. it will take a couple hours though.

try to lower your graphic settings

when did it start doing it ?
did u install anything recently, other programs or add-ons to anything ?
if all games do it, its not GW, try to update your graphics drivers 1st.....
if it just started recently you could try to restore to a point it didnt do it then think of everything you installed recently...
its either out of date drivers
recent addition to computer
we wont talk about worst case scenerio just yet

is the computer or video card to hot ?
try lowering all the graphic settings to minimum
did u try to update the video drivers yet ?
when was the last time you did update the video drivers ?
is it a laptop or a desktop ?
cooling is important so try to put a small fam next to the fans to help air circulation
are all the fans on the case working ?
if all games do it, its in the computer not just GW's. bad stick of ram possibly........ doesnt usually cause what your getting though
w/o being there im guessing its in the video card........... try the updating of drivers 1st
turn all settings to the lowest n see if it still does it
Bee is usually the best at this sort of thing, look 4 him in game
