You see, Sprite, Syn, and I were rolling dice and decided to go after a certain number. This gave us an idea, which led to seperate view points (one other person was there, but I forgot who). Here are my viewpoints: We have a lotto, but it seems more like a raffle to me. My idea is the host collects 1k from each contestsnt. Then he/she rolls a number 1-100 and each contestant will take turns to try to get that. If no one gets it, then it's round 2 and a new number is chosen. Obviously if someone gets the number, they win.
However, if there are two people or more who get the correct number in that round, there will be a sudden death. The host rolls a new number and the tied people roll to see who gets closest.
I'm sure this idea could use some touching up, so please comment.

"Lucky Exy's Gamble" (LEG) "<enter day of the week> Rollout Deathmatch" (*RD) "Roaring Exciting Numberizing Duel" (REND)
Could be this event's name, if the idea passes. >.>

I think its innovative! Do we have a host and a preffered day of the week?

I wouldn't mind taking it into [dusk], if [DBM] isn't or can't.

Hmm, my schedule is never set in stone, so I don't wanna pick a day and not be able to show.
I'll find out though.
And good ideas, Sprite xD

Wait, [dusk] doesn't have a full hall, does it?
If not, any tips can go to your funding for that ^^

Yeah, I'll take any moolah towards my guild's hall =D.
What I think may make this game more popular is maybe play a max of 5-10 rounds a night it is hosted, with 1-2 prizes going out each round [depending upon what was donated], with each winner picking what they want. Would make it a longer event and keep people wanting to play more, I'd reckon.

yeah all these numbers remind me of bingo or poker. But I reckon this is easier to run!

um, 1K to play.... I'm gonna be the party pooper and tell you to ask around and see if people would pay that much
cause you only have a 1 in 100 chance of winning any round. and then you only get 1/5th of the pot if you guys do 5 rounds... or 1/10th if 10 rounds so even have a chance at winning 1K back... enough people have to have entered as there are rounds and you have to have gotten that 1 in 100 roll to get it.
You can see where the math goes with that

Who said anything about only winning a fraction of it as the round increases?

Like I said it would depend upon the number that entered, and if there's both items and money, a good percentage of it would be available to earn in 1 round if so chosen. The fraction left would possibly be the % going to the host/[ing] guild?
