I entered these into the Saturday Doodling Competition at Animania Sydney (5th Sep 2009). It's an anime and japanese pop culture convention.

The rules where you had to use the paper provided and draw something while at the convention. There where 4 categories to enter:
- Black and white, general (anything)
- Black and white, theme (chibi)
- Colour, general
- Colour, theme

1. Black and White, general (I drew this while eating lunch, my first entry. The people at the art stall told me to go and do some colour ones! So I did. But I didnt bring my markers >.<
Its the king of a very cold mountain with a mechanical arm thats breaking down
I won a medal for this one!

2. Colour, general (I rushed this just before the closing time. Used a pink water based marker my sister gave me... ew streaky!)
He's a weirdo.

3. Colour, theme (Wubble)
Chibi vampire spoilt brat kinda thing.

Im trying to use the publicity from winning it but it aint working lol. Tbh I haven't finished any colour work since my pirate one >.< And colour marker pictures used to be my niche. ... but I'll keep trying, finally winning something is pretty awesome. My first medal! <3

not sure, maybe the eyes aren't quite big enough (now that I can see the rest of his head)
I'm trying to shift my perspective to the front of his head, and I can imagine that they are kind of narrow when seen that way
or maybe one eye dips a bit lower on the face... anyways, I think it's in the eyes >.<

edit: I threw it in paint shop, yes the eye to your right improves with being resized, so does the left... but maybe not raising that one? either that or I just raised it to high

Okie I give that a go! Hmm I think that solution works, because I kept staring at the eye > tip of nose and going "its too big" but when I decreased the area it looked wrong >.< Ty!
